Respected Baba, Pronam !! If doing bad to others or hurting others is bad, then why doesn’t God stop me from hurting others or stop them from hurting me? Is it because of our Karma that we are destined to suffer ? If that be so why do we have to be considerate to others ? A person ‘X’ can always hurt ‘Y’ intentionally and malliciously and blame it squarely on Y’s karmas, can’t he?— PD
How do you know whether God is stopping you or not? Are you in communication with God? Until you stop the chatter of your mind how do you expect to hear the Words of God, His thoughts?
The guidance of God is available through your conscience, Conscience is the Guru within. The more the conscience is developed the more you are empowered to be discriminative and you know what is right and what is wrong for you, what is temporary and what is permanent in your life.
Yes, it is because of your karma you get an opportunity to hear the words of God through that which your mind calls as sufferance. Without going through the sufferance you will never enrich yourself, you will never lean to grow from within.
You will have to be considerate to others for the simple reason you are suffering because you were not considerate to others. If you are considerate now, then at least you can stop the sufferance of tomorrow. You can not change your past, and alter it, but you can sow good seeds today to reap a rich harvest of choicest blessings tomorrow.
Know that the law of karma is like the law of gravitation, it is not that there is judge up there who is ruling it. It is simple operation of a law of the Universe. If person X maliciously hurts Y, then you can be rest assured that X is sowing seeds of sufferance today and will have to reap its consequences tomorrow. No body can help X and X has to go through the experience of pain to pay for the karma. X suffers or enjoys his karma and Y suffers or enjoys his karma. It is just cause and effect chain that happens automatically. Do you get my point?
You have to be awake and aware that you are to do good, for it will come back to you. Even under provocation do not sow the wrong seed, for you alone have to reap its fruits when the time ripens.
