This policy explains how Lokenath Divine Life Mission (“the Mission”, “we”, “us”) handles cancellations and refunds for donations, monthly donations, Puja Archana offerings, and Ashram orders made through babalokenath.org.

1. Donations are voluntary and non-refundable

Every donation and Puja Archana offering is a voluntary gift to the Mission and is used for its spiritual, charitable, and social work. Once a donation has been successfully received through our payment gateway, it cannot be cancelled or refunded, except in the situations described in section 2.

2. When we will refund

We will refund an amount in the following cases:

  • You were charged more than once for the same donation (a duplicate payment).
  • An incorrect amount was debited because of a technical error.
  • A payment was made without your authorisation, or our payment gateway partner reports it as fraudulent.
  • An Ashram order you paid for cannot be fulfilled.

To request a refund, write to info@babalokenath.org or call us (see Contact Us) with your name, phone number, the date and amount of the payment, and the payment reference shown on your receipt or bank statement.

We will investigate every reported issue. If a refund is due, it will be made to the original payment method within 21 working days of the investigation of the reported issue being completed. The time for the money to appear in your account after that depends on your bank or card issuer.

3. Monthly donations

A monthly donation is set up with a one-time mandate you approve with your card or bank account through our payment partner, Razorpay. The same amount is then debited each month until you stop it. You will receive a reminder before each debit.

  • Stopping a monthly donation: you can cancel at any time, with no charge or penalty, by writing to info@babalokenath.org or calling the Mission office. Please give the name and phone number used for the donation.
  • When cancellation takes effect: if we receive your request at least 2 working days before the next debit date, that debit and all later debits will not be taken. Requests received later take effect from the following month.
  • Your bank: you can also cancel the mandate directly with your bank or card issuer, or through your UPI app where the mandate was set up with UPI AutoPay.
  • Past monthly payments already received are treated as donations and are not refunded, except in the situations described in section 2.

4. Puja Archana offerings

Puja Archana offerings are not eligible for an 80G tax deduction and are non-refundable once received, except in the situations described in section 2.

5. Ashram orders

For books and other items ordered from the Ashram, please see our Shipping and Exchange Policy for damaged or incorrect items.
