I am able to witness my thoughts during meditation but often emotions like anger and fear take control of me. After a while I realize that I should not have reacted in the manner I did. How can I witness emotions as they arise in my mind so that they have no effect on me ? Please advise. Eagerly awaiting your reply.
Wonderful, this is positive, you are able to witness your emotions and thoughts, that is very good state, part of meditation and its on ward progress.
Don’t worry, don’t condemn, criticise or becomes worried about it, as you meditate the first thing that should happen is the deep seated urges and instinctive passions of yours will surface, don’t worry, just watch them as they appear in your mind and disappear.
Don’t fight them then you are lost.
