As we know, in deep meditation breathing is slow, does it effect negatively as less oxygen is supplied to brain?
As such if you are in a state of deep meditation you are in touch with the deepest source of vital energy that is prana. So you can be rest assured that instead of creating oxygen starvation, it would only send the most powerful Prana to your brain and to every cell of your body creating not only the health and happiness but deepest healing to your body mind.
Keep practicing without any kind of doubts, you are good as long as you are able to calm your mind.
